IBRAC Pavilion will offer visitors the opportunity to better explore Cachaça in all its diversity, flavours, and aromas; the fair takes place from 8 to 10 April at the Anhembi District, in São Paulo.
The genuinely Brazilian and internationally renowned drink will have a special space at the 6th edition of Anuga Select Brazil, one of the leading food and beverage (F&B) trade fairs in Latin America. The Brazilian Institute of Cachaça (IBRAC) has prepared a pavilion 100% dedicated to the drink, where visitors will be able to taste it in a moderate and responsible manner, gaining a deeper understanding of its aromas, diversity, and flavours.
The pavilion engages with a sector that generates 600,000 direct and indirect jobs and is a national symbol, as Cachaça holds the title of the country’s first Geographical Indication, being protected in four markets: Chile, Mexico, the United States, and Colombia. The initiative is backed by IBRAC, the representative body of the sector, which accounts for more than 80% of the Cachaça volume traded in Brazil, covering small, medium, and large companies. Organised by Koelnmesse Brasil, Anuga will take place from 8 to 10 April at the Anhembi District, in São Paulo.
According to Polliana Claudino, project manager at Anuga, the unprecedented partnership between IBRAC and the fair represents a significant milestone for the sector, which has been experiencing important growth. “It will be a hub connecting the out-of-home food industry and various Cachaça brands. The IBRAC Pavilion will offer options for all business profiles, providing industry professionals with the chance to explore new products, establish partnerships, and expand the presence of Cachaça in the gastronomic and beverage market,” she stated.
Andressa Beig Jordão, executive director of IBRAC, considers the event a strategic platform to reinforce the relevance of Cachaça in the domestic market, as well as to expand its presence in the international market. “The Fair will allow our associates to strengthen their networking with distributors, importers, and other professionals in the industry, in addition to identifying new business opportunities and commercial partnerships.”
According to Andressa, the pavilion’s proposal is to offer visitors an immersive experience, showcasing new labels, trends, and a deeper understanding of Cachaça’s significant heritage in Brazilian culture. On this occasion, Cachaças from five Brazilian states will be present:

“The main objective of IBRAC is to promote and enhance Cachaça, always encouraging its moderate and responsible consumption. The participating producers will have the opportunity to showcase the richness of our drink, its varieties, and versatility, broadening export opportunities and strengthening Cachaça’s presence in strategic markets,” Andressa adds.
Polliana Claudino reinforces the executive director’s statement. “The partnership will also allow Cachaça producers to showcase their innovations and high-quality products, increasing the beverage’s visibility as a premium product.”
