2. According to the Brazilian Food Industry Association (ABIA), the food industry accounted for approximately 10.8% of Brazil’s GDP in 2024.

3. In 2024, the Brazilian food industry generated BRL 1.277 trillion in revenue, recording a 9.98% growth compared to the previous year.

4. Of the sector’s total revenue: 72% came from the domestic market; 28% came from exports..

5. The fastest-growing segments in 2024 were: Food service: +10.4%; Food retail: +8.8%.

6. The sector invested approximately BRL 38.7 billion in 2024, especially in: innovation; industrial expansion; mergers and acquisitions; logistics modernization.

7. The food industry created approximately 72,000 direct jobs in 2024, reinforcing its importance to the Brazilian economy.
