The interest of the company, which belongs to the Makro Group, reinforces the importance of the fair for the Food Service sector, which doubled the number of exhibitors in the first edition and expects to receive 10 thousand visitors
The presence of important players in the food and beverage sector and the highly qualified public of ANUFOOD Brazil – Exclusive International Trade Fair for the Food and Beverage sector aroused the interest of Makro Food Service, Makro Group’s business unit, to be the official sponsor of the event. The fair, which takes place between March 9 and 11 at São Paulo Expo, and is the South American version of Anuga, the largest food and beverage event in the world, is expected to receive 10 thousand visitors and gather over 400 exhibiting brands.
Makro Food Service aims to consolidate the brand in the Food Service distribution market in Brazil and in future in neighboring countries. “We are part of the Makro Group, composed of five other business units in South America that operate in the cash and carry segment. This new business unit has four years of existence and, after much learning, we are strengthening our performance in the distribution market”, explains Marcelo Abrantes, CEO of Makro Food Service.
We want to strengthen the concept of having the customer at the center of our decisions. Therefore, it is essential to spread our brand as a partner distributor, bring to the customer a complete solution based on multichannel, agile and efficient deliveries. ANUFOOD Brazil is the perfect event to show everything we can do”, says Abrantes.
At the booth, the company prepares an interactive space to show all the differentials in services of the company, with many news and opportunities for customers and partners. “We will present the multichannel structure of service, the modernity and differentials of our fleet, the portfolio of own brand products, activations with partner suppliers and an interactive area so that the public can also learn about our social networks and website,” he concludes.
Besides Makro Food Service, ANUFOOD Brazil also has the official sponsorship of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA).
