Professionals and others interested in the production and distribution chain of food and beverages in Brazil can already register to visit the 2nd edition of ANUFOOD Brazil, the International Fair Exclusive for the Food and Beverage Sector, which will be held between March 9 and 11, 2020 at the São Paulo Expo. Free online registration can be done at Anufood’s website (https://anuga-brazil.com.br/credenciamento/).
The B2B event is from Koelnmesse, which also organizes Anuga, the world’s largest food and beverage fair, held in Germany for 100 years. The meeting is the only exclusive event for the food and beverage market in Brazil, and should bring together 200 exhibitors, representing about 300 brands, for an estimated audience of 10 thousand visitors, including food service establishments, wholesalers and distributors.
In all, ten sectors will be represented: Agrifoods; Meat; Chilled & Fresh Food; Dairy; Drinks & Hot Beverages; Fine Food; Bread & Bakery; Organic; Sweets & Snacks, and Food Service. The fair will present novelties in food and beverages, equipment and solutions aimed at improving processes and production in this market. Among the sectors of ANUFOOD Brazil, one of the highlights is the exclusive area for organic products, a segment that has grown exponentially in the country thanks to the increased demand by industry, retail and consumers.
Simultaneous events
The 2nd edition of ANUFOOD Brazil will still be the stage for the II Abrasel Meeting – ESBRE: Knowledge for Bars and Restaurants, which will address topics such as the future of delivery, marketing, architecture and taxation for establishments in the sector. The fair will also bring workshops for the pizzeria sector, in partnership with the ConPizza Institute, in addition to the Confectionery & Bakery Show project, Senai.
The event will also host an international Congress, curated by FGV Projects, in which industry experts and government representatives will debate three central issues: food safety, regulation and food waste. Consolidating its international character, ANUFOOD will hold national and international Business Rounds. In 2019, 1,500 meetings were scheduled and the estimated business generated was US$ 15 million (more than R$ 60 million).
