The second edition of the trade fair exclusively organised for the food and beverage industry will take place in March 2020, which includes a full programme about the industry’s future.
The main associations of the food and beverage industry have renewed their support to the second edition of ANUFOOD Brazil, which is a unique trade fair exclusively focused on the food and beverage industry. Among the strategic partners are ITAL (Institute of Food Technology), Abia (Brazilian Association of Food Industries) and FGV, which once again will organise the conference programme including authorities and experts in the food and beverage industry.
According to Luis Madi, Institutional Affairs Director at ITAL – a body of São Paulo state government’s Agriculture and Supply Department, ANUFOOD Brazil is a key event that values Brazilian products and shows the domestic food and beverage industry worldwide. “Exhibiting those products is very important for the exports implementation process as Brazil provides the greatest variety of products, which are mainly vegetables but also includes the meat and dairy industries. ITAL has also followed the development of the food, beverage and packaging industries in Brazil over the last 40 years”, Madi says.
In addition, the director says that ITAL has agreed to organise a lecture focused on the food, beverage and packaging industries during the first day of ANUFOOD Brazil Conference, coordinated by FGV Agro, which is a very important partnership in the management of the Conference programme. “The second day the III Beverage Inovation Summit will be organised in partnership with Abir (Association of Soft Drinks and Non-Alcoholic Beverages) and the last day of the event will be held in partnership with Abia (Brazilian Association of Food Industries), which will will address topics related to the food industry”.
ABIA (Brazilian Association of the Food Industry) and FGV (Fundação Getúlio Vargas) have renewed their partnership with ANUFOOD.
In addition to the Conference programme, the second edition of ANUFOOD presents parallel events featuring International Business Rounds, ANUFOOD Brazil PRIME Club, Arena, Convoys and Confectionery & Bakery Show. Koelnmesse estimates an expansion of the exhibit area of 60% as well as a higher number of decision makers from all over Brazil visiting the event, international buyers from over 40 countries and various sales channels including supermarkets, distributors, wholesalers, restaurants, hotels, collective meals companies, among other channels. “Just as the first edition, ANUFOOD 2020 has set strategic partnerships with the main associations and unions of the food and beverage industry. Furthermore, we have a marketing planning that includes adverts in every Brazilian magazine related to the trade sector as well as a few international media outlets. We focus on expand the event while maintaining the high quality from the first edition.
